How to automatically repost your listings on Vinted

On Vinted, results are sorted by freshness (the "Sort by: Newest" option): a recent listing appears at the top, an old listing sinks below hundreds of others. A perfect item at the right price may never sell simply because no one sees it any more.

Reposting resets the freshness counter: the item goes back in front of buyers who had never scrolled past it. It is free, allowed, and it is what every regular seller does to keep their wardrobe visible.

Vinted's paid "boost" puts a listing forward for a few days. Reposting is different: you republish the item so it becomes "recent" again. In practice, that means re-creating the listing (same photos, same description) then removing the old one, to go back to the top of the list without losing the content.

The upside: it is free and repeatable. The downside if you do it by hand: it is tedious, and you lose the favourites accumulated on the old listing. Hence the value of tooling it.

No need to repost every hour: you tire out your followers and gain nothing. A healthy rhythm is between once a day and once every two or three days per item, prioritising the pieces that have potential but few views.

Timing matters more than frequency. Aim for peak activity: early morning, the lunch break, and above all the evening (around 6 pm–10 pm), when most people are scrolling. The weekend is generally busier than midweek.

• Prioritise items with favourites but no sale.
• Avoid reposting everything at the same time: spread it across the day.
• Concentrate your reposts on evening and weekend slots.
